Holy moly this Park Chan-wook shot

One of my favorite flicks from this last year was Decision to Leave, directed by the incredible Korean filmmaker Park Chan-wook – I remain fairly flabbergasted that it came up empty at the Oscars, but what can you do.

Maybe in a future post I'll dive into what I loved about that movie, but today, I just want to glory in this (literal) ticking time-bomb of a shot from what might be my favorite Le Carre adaptation (a high bar!), Park's The Little Drummer Girl:
